Jack married ‘Annie’ in 1911 in Steyning, Sussex.

Bo writes: I remember ‘Uncle Jack’ as having a twinkle in his eye and being rather dapper. I know he visited 7B a few times when we were there and I think I remember visiting him in Brighton.

He was in the Royal Army Medical Corps and got the 1914 Star. Either he, or his son, was a Conscientious objector – and they fell out.
