Generation 4 – Our Parents

This is my father’s and mother’s generation and that of their siblings and partners etc. The children of Generation 5.

They are mostly born between the two world wars, before TV, space flight and global communication. A time of the family sitting around the ‘wireless’ to listen to the Archers, Take It From Here & the Life of Bliss just before they relinquished the radio to my generation for Journey Into Space, Dessert Island Discs and Letter From America.
