Generation 5 – Our Grandparents

Our family name is relatively new in as much as the hyphenation started with my Grandfather (Joseph Peter Crombet Boelens). As this site is written (initially) from the perspective of generation 3 (Siblings Bo & Jean Crombet-Beolens) the titles used relate to everyone’s relationship to one of us.

This is the generation mostly born in the nineteenth century before cars, manned flight and most domestic appliances. Some, like Gran bridged THREE centuries and saw the first manned flight and landings on the moon, the first gasoline motorcars right through to driverless, electric cars.
